Rihanna Finally Back in Studio

Rihanna is finally back in the studio after a 10-year music hiatus, teasing her return through interviews and social media. The global superstar has been stoking excitement among her massive fanbase with hints about an imminent release.

Rihanna's last studio album, "Anti," was released on January 28, 2016. The critically acclaimed album marked a creative departure from her previous pop-formula hits, featuring a more subdued and moody sound on tracks like "Work," "Needed Me," and "Love on the Brain." During her musical hiatus, she focused on building a business empire. She launched Fenty Beauty on September 8, 2017, a brand that revolutionized the cosmetics industry with its inclusive range of foundation shades. In May 2018, she expanded her entrepreneurial ventures with the launch of the lingerie brand Savage X Fenty. The brand was praised for its focus on confidence, diversity, and body positivity, further cementing her status as a business mogul. While she hasn't released a full album, she hasn't been entirely absent from music. She was featured on N.E.R.D.'s 2017 single "Lemon" and released the Oscar-nominated song "Lift Me Up" for the *Black Panther: Wakanda Forever* soundtrack in 2022. In February 2023, Rihanna made a highly anticipated return to the stage for the Super Bowl LVII halftime show. During the performance, she revealed she was pregnant with her second child. Since her last album, Rihanna has also become a mother of three with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky. They welcomed sons RZA Athelston Mayers in May 2022 and Riot Rose Mayers in August 2023, followed by a daughter, Rocki Irish Mayers, in September 2025.
