Elden Ring: Nightreign Drops
Bandai Namco is rolling out Elden Ring’s Nightreign update — a faster, more arcade-style combat mode — with the release set for March 31 and the franchise now credited with over 30 million copies sold to date (cbr.com). A full Nightreign boss guide with damage modifiers and vulnerabilities for the eight Nightlord bosses went live March 29, giving players exact strategies to tackle the new content (md-eksperiment.org).
Bandai Namco’s live notes list the current Nightreign build as App Ver. 1.03.2 with Regulation Ver. 1.03.4 and confirm PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S and Steam as targeted platforms; Regulation files must be downloaded by logging in to the server. (bandainamcoent.com) Patch 1.03.2 specifically adjusted Nightfarer and character skills — for example, Duchess’s phantom visibility was changed and Guardian’s damage negation against physical and elemental attacks was increased. (bandainamcoent.com) The Nightreign expansion launched as a separate Elden Ring spin-off on May 30, 2025 and structures its endgame around eight expedition “Nightlord” bosses that conclude each run. (ign.com) Official and major fan wikis list the eight Nightlords by name: Gladius (Beast of Night), Adel (Baron of Night), Gnoster (Wisdom of Night), Maris (Fathom of Night), Libra (Creature of Night), Fulghor (Champion of Nightglow), Caligo (Miasma of Night) and Shape of Night. (ign.com) Datamined weakness charts show sharp, boss-specific modifiers — Gladius takes +35% Holy damage while suffering −50% to Fire, Adel shows extremely low Poison and Frostbite thresholds (154), and Gnoster’s moth phase takes +40% Fire damage; those exact percentage modifiers and status thresholds drive current routing and relic choices. (md-eksperiment.org) Multiple outlets and walkthroughs — including Shacknews, PowerPyx and GameRant — have published step-by-step Nightlord strategies and weakness tables players are using to refine co-op roles and relic farming targets.
