The Overwatch 2 and Nier: Automata crossover launched on March 10, 2026, bringing new skins and a themed lobby to the game. The collaboration, called "Project YoRHa," features five legendary skins based on characters from the Nier: Automata universe. Kiriko gets a 2B skin, Vendetta is reimagined as A2, and Wuyang takes on the role of 9S. Lifeweaver is depicted as Adam, and Mercy as Commander White. The skins can be purchased individually for 1,900 Overwatch Coins each or as part of a Mega Bundle for 6,900 Overwatch Coins. The collaboration includes a lobby co-designed by Nier: Automata artists Kimihiko Fujisaka and Koda Kazuma, as well as references to the android support Pods from the original game. Players can also earn additional cosmetic items by completing event challenges. The event is scheduled to run until March 24, 2026. Despite the addition of new skins, some players have expressed disappointment that the skins do not include unique voice lines or highlight intros. Some have also pointed out the cost of the bundle is higher than Nier: Automata itself.
