Photographer Gabriel Moses Inspires

Self-taught photographer and filmmaker Gabriel Moses landed his first directing gig with Nike at just 18 after they saw videos he made of his friends playing football. With no formal training, his work is driven by instinct, drawing inspiration from his South London-Nigerian roots and old family photographs. By 22, Moses became the youngest artist to shoot a cover for Dazed magazine. His portfolio has since grown to include collaborations with Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Dior, Supreme, and Mercedes-Benz, as well as portraits of cultural figures like Skepta, Pharrell Williams, and Travis Scott. Moses's style is part of a larger design movement away from sterile minimalism towards expressive maximalism and "intentional imperfection." This trend favors layered visuals, rich textures, and bold typography as a reaction against the polished perfection often associated with AI-generated content.
