Paris Spring Cultural Events
The Rodin Museum in Meudon is hosting a free Spring Sculpture Festival from March 21-29 with immersive activities.
The Spring Sculpture Festival marks the reopening of the Musée Rodin in Meudon. The Villa des Brillants, Rodin's former studio-home, will be open to the public with a dedicated program of activities. Visitors can enjoy guided tours that explore the history of the house where Auguste Rodin and Rose Beuret lived for nearly 25 years. Family workshops will also be available, allowing participants to explore sculpture techniques with the guidance of an artist. For those aged 12 and up, there will be watercolor painting classes in the garden. A bike-sculpture trail will connect the Rodin Museum in Meudon with other cultural sites like the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire de Meudon and Hangar Y. This offers a unique way to see the area and its sculpture collections. The Spring Sculpture Festival is part of a larger event across Hauts-de-Seine, with 22 venues participating. The Rodin Museum in Meudon is partially accessible for strollers and wheelchairs, but it's best to check ahead due to uneven ground and steps. The Paris museum is more wheelchair-friendly, offering ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms. The Meudon site offers free parking, making it convenient for families and groups arriving by car.
