Kanye Rumored for Wireless Festival

Kanye West is heavily rumored to headline Wireless Festival 2026, generating 1.5K likes on social media. The speculation comes as the festival has yet to announce its full lineup for this year's edition.

A potential headlining slot would mark a controversial return for West, who previously performed at the festival in 2014. During that appearance, some audience members booed the rapper for an extended mid-set rant that lasted around 20 minutes. West's 2014 performance was a last-minute addition, as he filled in for fellow headliner Drake who had pulled out due to illness. Despite the negative reaction to his speech, West performed a second night and completed his set for thousands of fans. Wireless Festival is held annually in London's Finsbury Park. The event has a history of attracting major international artists, with past headliners including Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Cardi B. The 2026 edition is expected to take place from July 10-12, though dates remain unconfirmed. The festival typically draws a large crowd, with a capacity of nearly 50,000 people. In 2025, Drake headlined all three nights of the festival, a move described as unprecedented for the event. That year's lineup also featured artists such as Burna Boy, Summer Walker, and PARTYNEXTDOOR. West has a long history of major festival appearances, including headlining Coachella. However, he also pulled out of a planned Coachella headline slot in 2019 following disagreements over stage design.
