Pharrell Williams Debuts Floral LV Capsule

Louis Vuitton Men's has released the lookbook for its Spring 2026 capsule collection, designed by Pharrell Williams. The collection is heavily inspired by florals and merges the fashion house's heritage with a casual sensibility, featuring relaxed tailoring and bold prints.

- Pharrell Williams was appointed Men's Creative Director in February 2023, filling the high-profile position left vacant after the passing of Virgil Abloh in November 2021. Williams is the second Black American to hold the role at the French luxury house, following Abloh. - This appointment marks a return to the brand for Williams, who previously collaborated with Louis Vuitton on a line of sunglasses called "Millionaire" in 2004 and a jewelry collection in 2008. - His debut Spring-Summer 2024 collection was a major event, held on Paris's Pont Neuf bridge and attended by celebrities including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Rihanna. The collection introduced a pixelated camouflage version of the house's Damier pattern, dubbed "Damoflage." - A key focus of Williams's tenure has been the reinterpretation of the classic Speedy handbag, which he reimagined in soft, brightly colored calfskin inspired by the bootleg culture of New York's Canal Street. An exclusive crocodile leather version of the bag was priced at 1 million euros. - Prior to his role at Louis Vuitton, Williams co-founded the streetwear brand Billionaire Boys Club with Nigo in 2003 and has a long history of fashion collaborations, including with Chanel, Moncler, and a long-term partnership with Adidas. - Williams's second collection for the house, a pre-fall 2024 show in Hong Kong, drew inspiration from Hawaiian surf culture and sailors, continuing his theme of travel and global cultural influence.
