Mount Pleasant’s Lowcountry Strawberry Festival opens Friday, April 24, at Boone Hall for the first of two spring weekends built around berries, rides and family attractions. (boonehallplantation.com) The 2026 festival runs April 24-26 and May 1-3 at Boone Hall Plantation, with gates scheduled for 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. Boone Hall lists the site at 1235 Long Point Road in Mount Pleasant. (boonehallplantation.com) Gate admission is listed at $15, and children 2 and under get in free with a paid adult. Boone Hall says that ticket covers the festival grounds, shows, petting zoo, photo spots, vendors and farm activities, but not amusement rides. (boonehallplantation.com) The event is timed to the Lowcountry strawberry harvest and centers on fresh berries, carnival rides, live entertainment and food vendors. Experience Mount Pleasant describes it as an annual spring festival near Charleston with pie-eating contests, a petting zoo and activities for all ages. (experiencemountpleasant.com) Boone Hall says this year’s lineup includes Hog Diggity Dogs shows, Reithoffer Shows carnival rides, pig races, pony rides, a giant slide and obstacle course. The farm also says a 120-foot Ferris wheel is part of the 2026 ride package. (boonehallplantation.com) Festivalgoers can also pick strawberries in Boone Hall’s fields from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on festival days, as long as ripe berries are still available. Boone Hall lists U-pick prices at $11 for a 2-quart container and $20 for a 1-gallon container, with hayrides running to the fields. (boonehallplantation.com) The first weekend highlighted in Charleston-area event listings is April 24-26, even though the festival continues into May. The Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and Experience Mount Pleasant both list the same two-weekend schedule. (charlestoncvb.com) (experiencemountpleasant.com) For families planning around one day out, the setup is closer to a farm fair than a single concert or market: admission gets you onto the grounds, and rides and berry picking are separate purchases. By Friday morning, Boone Hall’s strawberry season shifts from roadside baskets to a full festival weekend. (boonehallplantation.com)
