Banksy's London Exhibition to Expand in March
The "Banksy Limitless London" exhibition, which has attracted over 130,000 visitors since September 2025, is being expanded. A new iteration called “Banksy Limitless: Reframed” will open on March 4th. The updated show promises new original works, murals, sculptures, and more advanced immersive installations, building on the current exhibition of over 250 pieces.
- Like many showcases of the artist's work, this exhibition is unauthorized and has not been endorsed by Banksy. The artist has previously highlighted the "spate of Banksy exhibitions," confirming none are consensual. - The exhibition is curated by Sorina Burlacu, who has previously brought iterations of the show to Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Australia, attracting more than 2.5 million visitors globally. - The venue for the London exhibition is Sussex Mansions on Old Brompton Road in South Kensington. - To accommodate the expansion, the exhibition will temporarily close on February 23, 2026, before its March reopening. - The "Reframed" version will grow the collection from over 250 pieces to more than 280, adding new works from Banksy's "Dismaland" project and the Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem. - Specific installations in the original exhibition included an "Infinity Room" full of mirrors, murals depicting his work in Ukraine, and pieces from the 2015 "Dismaland" installation. - The show's format is part of a larger trend of immersive art experiences which have faced criticism for removing street art from its original context and focusing on entertainment. - A documentary produced for the exhibition provides visitors with insights into Banksy's life and creative process, featuring interviews with his collaborators and fellow artists.
