Cape Town's Little Fox Adds

Cape Town's renowned Constantia Nek location just welcomed a second dining option from restaurant 'Little Fox.' The expansion gives diners greater variety at this historic culinary destination, blending heritage with contemporary flair.

The new "Little Fox" sits on a site with deep culinary roots, operating as a restaurant space consistently since 1929, making it Cape Town's oldest. Before this latest incarnation, the historic building housed popular eateries La Parada and Harbour House, run by the Harbour House Group. This expansion is part of a larger strategic move by the acclaimed La Colombe Group, which relocated its existing restaurant, Foxcroft, from High Constantia to share the historic Constantia Nek premises. While Foxcroft offers a fine-dining, set-menu experience, Little Fox provides a more casual, à la carte alternative. The culinary direction for both restaurants is steered by chef-proprietor Glen Foxcroft Williams. For Little Fox, he is joined by head chef Keanen Jaftha, a talent who moved up the ranks within the La Colombe group, having previously worked at La Petite Colombe and as a sous chef at the flagship La Colombe restaurant. The menu at Little Fox centers on globally-inspired, produce-driven small plates designed for sharing, with a strong emphasis on wines from the surrounding Constantia Valley. This approach aims to provide a more relaxed dining option perfect for a casual meal or even a post-hike bite, leveraging the location's popularity with tourists and locals exploring the area.
