Heat's Adebayo drops 83!

Bam Adebayo scored 83 points against the Wizards, putting himself second on the NBA's all-time single-game scoring list behind Wilt Chamberlain ‘It’s Wilt, me, then Kobe’—Adebayo Drops 83 in Historic Night.

Adebayo's performance narrowly eclipsed Kobe Bryant's 81-point game in 2006, further cementing his place in NBA history. He also surpassed David Thompson, David Robinson, Elgin Baylor, and Pete Maravich in a single night. The Heat defeated the Wizards 154-141, with Adebayo's scoring accounting for over half of the team's points. This victory contributed significantly to Miami's playoff push in the Eastern Conference. Adebayo shot an incredible 29-for-39 from the field and 25-for-27 from the free-throw line. This scoring outburst is particularly notable considering Adebayo's career average is around 16 points per game.
