Apollo unveils production Apollo EVO

Apollo Automobil used the opening day of the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 9 to show the production version of its Apollo EVO, placing the track-only hypercar among the event’s new-car debuts. Goodwood said Thursday has become one of the busiest launch days of the festival, which runs from July 9 to July 12 at Goodwood House in West Sussex, England. Autoevolution reported that Apollo brought the first production EVO, named “Caribbean Dragon,” to Goodwood and said company representatives were presenting the car’s specifications and preorder details on site. The same report said the car would meet earlier Apollo models at the festival, including the original Gumpert Apollo and the Apollo Intensa Emozione. ### Which Apollo EVO did Apollo bring to Goodwood? The car shown at Goodwood is the first production Apollo EVO, according to Autoevolution, which described it as the first in a 10-car run of bespoke examples. The report said the “Caribbean Dragon” name refers to the specification of the customer car displayed at the festival. Goodwood’s 2026 entry list includes both the Apollo Automobil IE and the Apollo Automobil EVO, confirming the model’s presence at the festival alongside earlier cars from the brand’s lineup. Apollo disclosed the EVO’s production specification in January, and multiple reports said the car uses a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12. Autoevolution said the engine produces 789 horsepower, or 800 metric horsepower, and 564 pound-feet of torque, with a six-speed sequential transmission. The same January report said Apollo targets a 0-to-62 mph time of 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 208 mph for a car weighing 1,300 kilograms. It also said the EVO uses a new carbon-fiber monocoque that is 10% lighter and 15% stiffer than the structure in the Apollo Intensa Emozione. ### How much downforce and customization does the production car carry? Apollo said the EVO’s hydraulically actuated rear wing deploys in under a second and can generate more than 1,300 kilograms of downforce at 320 kph, according to January specifications reported by Autoevolution. Auto Express separately reported pricing starts at 3 million euros and said Apollo plans to build only 10 examples. Auto Express said Apollo’s in-house Forge customization program means no two EVOs are expected to be identical.
