Billboard's R&B Fresh Picks
Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Fresh Picks of the Week is generating buzz, highlighting new tracks from Lakeyah, Juvenile & Megan Thee Stallion collab, Naomi Sharon, Chase B & Sheck Wes, and Otis Kane. Rated R&B also spotlighted 12 new releases including Bruno Mars, Elmiene, and GoGo Morrow.
The collaboration between New Orleans legend Juvenile and Houston's Megan Thee Stallion is a remix of his viral hit "B.B.B." The track, which also features Genesisthegawd, dropped on February 27, 2026, and precedes Juvenile's first solo album in over a decade, "The Boiling Point," slated for a March 26 release. OVO Sound's Naomi Sharon released "Miss That," a dancehall-infused R&B track that samples Chicago's "If You Leave Me Now." The single is the lead from her forthcoming album and arrives as her 2025 EP, "The Only Love We Know," is nominated for Best Soul/R&B/Funk Album/EP at the prestigious Edison Awards in Amsterdam. The tracks from Chase B and Sheck Wes, "Rain" and "Off at 7," are featured on Chase B's new 13-track mixtape, "Be Very Afraid (Vol. 1)." Released on February 27, 2026, the project also includes collaborations with Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Big Sean, and Swae Lee. Milwaukee rapper Lakeyah's latest single is titled "Herskii." The Quality Control artist is now signed with the historic Motown Records. Bruno Mars's new album, "The Romantic," released on February 27, 2026, is his first solo studio effort in nearly a decade, following 2016's "24K Magic." The new nine-track album was co-produced with D'Mile and features the No. 1 hit "I Just Might." British-Sudanese artist Elmiene has released a double single, "Honour" and "I Want In," from his upcoming debut album "sounds for someone," which is scheduled for a late March release. The album features production from the likes of Raphael Saadiq and Sampha. Philadelphia native GoGo Morrow released her sophomore EP, "SET," on February 27, 2026. The project, executive produced by Harmony "H-Money" Samuels, is described as an anthem of emotional independence and features the single "Hard To Love." L.A.-based artist Otis Kane's latest single is "Let Me Love You." His sophomore album, "Violet," was released in January 2025 and blends throwback R&B and pop grooves.
