Claude audits ads stacks

An open-source Claude-based prompt auditor that runs 190+ checks for Meta, Google and LinkedIn ad accounts was posted this week, offering automated budget plans and creative strategies. The tool is being shared as a repo for practitioners who want structured audits of creative and spend logic. (x.com)

A new open-source tool built for Anthropic’s Claude Code is giving media buyers a way to audit ad accounts with one prompt instead of a manual checklist. The repository says it covers more than 190 checks across major ad platforms. (github.com) The project is published on GitHub as `claude-ads`, with commands for full audits, platform-specific reviews, budget analysis, creative reviews, landing-page checks, and industry planning templates. Its README lists support for Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Apple Search Ads. (github.com) The repository says a full audit spins up six parallel subagents and breaks the work into named modules, including 74 checks for Google, 46 for Meta, and 21 for creative review. GitHub showed about 1,600 stars and more than 300 forks when the page was crawled this week. (github.com) Claude Code is Anthropic’s coding tool that runs in a terminal or integrated development environment, reads files, executes commands, and works across connected tools. Anthropic says the Model Context Protocol, or MCP, is the open standard it uses to connect assistants to external data sources and software. (code.claude.com, claude.com) That setup matters for ad audits because the major ad platforms already expose developer interfaces for campaign, creative, and reporting data. Google says its Google Ads API lets developers build applications that interact with the Google Ads platform, and LinkedIn says its Marketing APIs can create campaigns, report performance, manage leads, and grow company pages. (developers.google.com, learn.microsoft.com) The tool’s pitch is less about replacing ad buying than standardizing the first pass of account review. The README describes weighted scoring, an “Ads Health Score,” prioritized action plans, and commands for budget allocation and business-type planning such as software as a service, ecommerce, and local services. (github.com) The checks also reflect how fragmented paid media work has become. A single account review now spans bidding logic, campaign structure, conversion tracking, creative fatigue, landing-page quality, and platform-specific settings such as Performance Max on Google and Advantage+ Shopping on Meta. (github.com) The project arrives as more marketers try to move ad analysis from spreadsheets into agent workflows that can query live systems. Anthropic says Claude Code can read a codebase, edit files, run commands, and integrate with development tools, which makes it useful for repeatable audit scripts rather than one-off chat answers. (anthropic.com, code.claude.com) There are limits to what an automated audit can settle on its own. Platform application programming interfaces can show spend, structure, and performance data, but they do not tell an advertiser whether a weak result came from bad creative, a weak offer, poor sales follow-up, or a market with little demand. (developers.google.com, learn.microsoft.com) For agencies and in-house teams, the immediate use looks simpler: run the checklist, surface obvious waste, and decide what still needs human judgment. The novelty is not that ad accounts can be audited, but that the audit logic is now packaged as a public repository anyone can inspect, copy, and extend. (github.com)
