The Manchester exhibition, "The Mystery of Banksy - A Genius Mind," features over 200 recreated works by the anonymous artist, including graffiti, photographs, sculptures, and video installations. It's making its UK debut after touring 36 cities and attracting over 3.5 million visitors. The exhibition aims to provide insight into Banksy's career, showcasing pieces that raise awareness for political and social issues. The Manchester exhibit includes recreations of famous works and installations, such as the "Palestine Wall," a remodelling of walls in Gaza and the West Bank, and a recreation of Banksy's Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem. Visitors can also see a recreation of a London Underground carriage that Banksy turned into an immersive artwork in 2020. The exhibition is being held at Depot Mayfield and runs from March 13th to July 5th, 2026. Meanwhile, in Japan, the "Touhou Banksy" has been creating graffiti of Koishi Komeiji, a character from the Touhou Project video game series. The anonymous artist has been active since 2025, with murals appearing in Osaka and Nara prefectures. Despite some criticism for vandalism, the artist's work has gained appreciation for its style, reminiscent of Fumo plush toys, with some fans going on "Koishi hunts" to find the murals.
