'Let's Taco Bout It' Joins Chamblee Market

Atlanta-based food truck Let's Taco Bout It, known for its fusion tacos, has become a new vendor at the Chamblee Tap & Market.

Let's Taco Bout It first launched as a food truck in August 2016 before opening a physical restaurant in Doraville in January 2020. The business is known for serving both traditional Mexican tacos and creative fusion options, drawing inspiration from Indian, Korean, and Southern American cuisines. Signature fusion tacos include Korean BBQ with smoked pork belly and a Jerk Chicken taco with mango pineapple pico. The new venue, Chamblee Tap & Market, is a 5,000-square-foot micro food hall and taproom that opened in August 2024. It is located on Broad Street, adjacent to Chamblee City Hall in a repurposed antique store building. The market is the brainchild of friends Jeff Kimmel and David Heymann, who left the finance industry to turn their pandemic-era "Beer Club Sundays" into a business. The taproom features 26 taps, with 20 dedicated to a rotating selection of local, national, and international craft beers. The concept was developed in partnership with real estate advisory company terra alma to select the food vendors. Other businesses joining the market include South End Smokehouse and Sidecar Coffee, which is operated by Heymann's wife, Leigh.
