Rogan Returns for UFC 326

Joe Rogan is returning to the broadcast booth for UFC 326, joined by three former champions on the commentary team. This marks Rogan's comeback after being absent from recent cards — UFC is clearly positioning this as a marquee broadcast event. The card will feature Max Holloway vs Charles Oliveira 2 for the BMF title.

Rogan’s return is part of a standard arrangement where he typically provides commentary for US-based pay-per-view events, often alongside former two-division champion Daniel Cormier and play-by-play lead Jon Anik. He consistently skips international events due to his travel preferences. The "BMF" or "Baddest Motherfucker" title is a symbolic championship created in 2019 for a fight between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal. Unlike traditional belts, it is not tied to a weight class and was established to recognize the UFC's toughest and most exciting fighters. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson presented the inaugural belt to Masvidal at UFC 244. Max Holloway captured the BMF title in his last bout at UFC 300, where he moved up to lightweight to face Justin Gaethje. Holloway secured the championship with a spectacular knockout with just one second remaining in the fifth and final round. The performance earned him $600,000 in post-fight bonuses. This will be the second meeting between Holloway and Charles Oliveira; their first encounter was over a decade ago in August 2015. The fight ended anticlimactically in the first round when Oliveira suffered an injury, resulting in a TKO victory for Holloway. Since their first fight, both men have become UFC legends. Oliveira went on to win the UFC Lightweight Championship and holds the records for most finishes (21) and most submission wins (17) in the organization's history. Holloway became the UFC Featherweight Champion and is recognized as one of the greatest featherweights of all time.
