Jill Scott's Decade Return

Jill Scott unveiled the music video for "Pressha," the lead single from her first album in over a decade. The visuals showcase Scott's signature soulful style and mark a major comeback attracting enthusiastic responses from longtime fans.

Scott's last studio album, "Woman," was released on July 24, 2015. It debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, marking her second chart-topping release. During her break from recording, Scott remained active as an actress, appearing in the CW superhero series *Black Lightning* as the villain Lady Eve and starring in the BET+ series *First Wives Club* since 2019. The new 19-track album is titled "To Whom This May Concern" and was officially released on February 13, 2026. It is her sixth studio album and first full-length project in over a decade. "Pressha" was co-produced by Adam Blackstone and Vincent "VT" Tolan and is the second single from the new record. The lead single was a track titled "Beautiful People," produced by Om'Mas Keith. The album features a wide range of collaborators, including rappers Ab-Soul, J.I.D., and fellow Philadelphia native Tierra Whack. The production lineup includes notable names such as DJ Premier, Camper, and Andre Harris. In a recent interview, Scott explained the hiatus wasn't due to a creative block but a conscious "creative break" to live life, raise her teenage son, and navigate experiences like perimenopause.
