XENOM, branded as the "Decathlon of Fitness," launched on February 27, 2026, with $15 million in funding, aiming to establish a global standard for competitive fitness. The series will feature 11 competitions in its first season across the United States and Europe, with the goal of expanding to over 60 events annually. The inaugural XENOM competition will be held in Frisco, Texas, at the Ford Center at The Star, the Dallas Cowboys' headquarters, on June 27–28, 2026. Around 2,000 athletes are expected to participate in each event, competing individually or in same-sex pairs across three divisions: Elite, RX, and Compete. XENOM's Day One events include a 1RM Snatch, an ascending ladder of wall walks and rope climbs, and a barbell cycling workout consisting of deadlifts, front squats, shoulder-to-overheads, and thrusters. The barbell cycling workout involves cycling through 12 deadlifts, 9 front squats, 6 shoulder-to-overheads, and 3 thrusters. The loads are scaled by division, with 50kg for Compete, 60kg for RX, and 70kg for Elite. The XENOM competition uses a points-based scoring system called the Elite Performance Index (EPI), modeled after decathlon scoring. Each of the 10 events generates a score based on a percentage of an elite-level benchmark, and the scores are weighted to equally reward improvements across different fitness domains. The final event on Day 2, Event 010, is a 16-minute AMRAP featuring handstand push-ups, pull-ups, and dumbbell lunges.
