Icaro Media Group Expands to Europe
AI-powered media technology company Icaro Media Group has announced its expansion into Europe. The company is opening new regional offices in Madrid, Spain, and Lisbon, Portugal, to support its multiscreen audience engagement platforms.
- This European expansion builds on the company's 2025 acquisition of LiftMedia, a digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising company specializing in elevator screens in Spain and Portugal. - A key element of the expansion is a multiyear digital network agreement with Otis Mobility S.A. to deliver content on 50,000 screens in elevators across Spain, Portugal, and parts of Africa. - The Otis partnership provides a daily reach of over 2.4 million people and is expected to generate around 60 million weekly views. - Icaro's CEO, Paul Feller, has a background leading various media and technology companies, including SKYY Digital Media Group and Stratus Media Group. - The company's technology includes the "TITAN" generative AI platform, which is used to create original content for media partners like TV Azteca and RCN Television. - In Latin America, Icaro holds major long-term contracts with telecom giants, including a 10-year deal with América Móvil's Claro Brasil to monetize digital advertising for its 87 million mobile customers. - The new European operations will be managed by Alexandre Santos, the company's Executive Vice President for Media. - The move targets a growing market, with Spain's digital media sector alone projected to reach nearly $41 billion in revenue by 2030.
