Keith Haring's Subway Drawings in London

Keith Haring's 30 original subway drawings are on display at Moco Museum London 16.

Haring created these drawings between 1981 and 1985 using chalk on black paper meant for advertisements. He considered the subway system a laboratory for working out his ideas and a place to communicate with a large audience. The Moco Museum in London is hosting the display. The museum focuses on modern and contemporary art. Haring's work often addressed social and political themes, including AIDS awareness, drug abuse, and political activism. His subway drawings are a significant part of his artistic legacy, showcasing his ability to connect with the public through accessible and engaging imagery.
