POSaBIT has launched POSaBIT Brands, a new software portal for cannabis producers and processors that pushes the company beyond dispensary checkout systems. (businesswire.com) The company announced the product on April 21, 2026, saying the portal is built for reporting, vendor-managed inventory, product catalogs and business-to-business payments. POSaBIT Systems Corporation trades on the Canadian Securities Exchange as PBIT and over the counter in the U.S. as POSAF. (morningstar.com) POSaBIT’s website says the product is live as a hub for Washington state brands, producers and processors, with features including reporting, VMI, product catalog and B2B payments. The company calls it “the real-time operating system for cannabis brands” on the product page. (posabit.com) Cannabis software companies have largely focused on dispensaries, where retailers need point-of-sale systems, compliance tools and payment workarounds in a market with limited traditional banking access. POSaBIT said this launch extends its software deeper into the supply chain, before products reach store shelves. (digitaltransactions.net) Chief executive Ryan Hamlin said the new offering opens “roughly 50%” of the cannabis market that POSaBIT had not previously served. Digital Transactions reported the company is targeting growers and processors as a new customer base alongside retailers. (digitaltransactions.net) POSaBIT has described itself as a payments infrastructure and point-of-sale provider for cannabis retailers, and in March said it served more than 500 locations across 20-plus states. That same release said the company processed more than 85% of cannabis transactions in Washington state. (businesswire.com) In its fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 results, released April 22, POSaBIT said it had “successfully launched a new AI-driven brand offering” and said the move increased its market potential by 100%. The company also reported $2.5 million in positive adjusted EBITDA for 2025. (stocktitan.net) The immediate test is whether POSaBIT can turn a Washington-focused producer portal into a broader software business across more legal cannabis markets. For now, the launch gives the company a second front in cannabis tech: not just the cash register, but the back-office systems upstream from it. (posabit.com)
