Jack Witt, founder of Active World Journeys, recently highlighted a four-day Barcelona itinerary on the NoHo Arts District blog. The itinerary focuses on experiencing the city's cultural heart through flamenco, visits to the Gothic Quarter, explorations of Picasso's connection to the city, and admiration of Gaudí's architecture. Witt's journey included a flamenco show at Tablao Flamenco, which has been a Barcelona institution since 1970. A walking tour of the Gothic Quarter revealed Roman, Jewish, and Christian history within the medieval streets. The itinerary also included a visit to the Picasso Museum, showcasing Picasso's artistic development during his nine years living in Barcelona. Gaudí's architectural wonders, including the Sagrada Família, Casa Batlló, and Casa Milà, were central to Witt's Barcelona experience. Witt described the Sagrada Família, under construction since 1883, as a wildly creative Modernista-style building.
