Centric Software Launches AI Tool for Pricing and Inventory

Centric Software has launched new AI-powered capabilities for its Pricing & Inventory platform. The enhancements are designed to help retailers and brands maximize margins and reduce excess stock. The system uses AI-powered forecasting and real-time market insights to drive more precise pricing and inventory decisions.

- The AI enhancements are integrated into Centric's broader "concept-to-replenishment" platform, which includes their flagship Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution, Centric PLM™. This platform is designed for fast-moving consumer goods industries like fashion, retail, footwear, and luxury. - Parent company Dassault Systèmes acquired a majority stake in Centric Software in 2018, aiming to accelerate the digital transformation of the fashion and retail sectors. Centric continues to operate independently. - Centric has expanded its capabilities through strategic acquisitions, including retail planning provider Armonica Retail in 2021, market intelligence firm StyleSage in 2022, and predictive pricing software provider aifora in 2023. It also acquired Product Information Management (PIM) provider Contentserv. - The company serves over 20,000 brands in more than 60 countries, with a client roster that includes prominent names like ASICS, Louis Vuitton, Ted Baker, and Tommy Hilfiger. - The new capabilities are part of the Centric Pricing & Inventory™ module, which, according to the company, can help clients achieve revenue increases of up to 18% and margin increases of up to 110%. Another module, Centric Market Intelligence™, is designed to drive up to a 12% increase in average initial price points. - In October 2025, company founder Chris Groves transitioned to a senior advisory role with Dassault Systèmes, and Fabrice Canonge, formerly the company president, was promoted to CEO. - Centric was recently named a Representative Vendor in a Gartner report on retail pricing and markdown optimization solutions, highlighting its AI-driven approach for short lifecycle product categories. - The company's estimated annual revenue is currently around $235.1 million. In 2017, prior to the majority acquisition by Dassault Systèmes, Centric Software's revenue was $61 million.
