Street Art Comes to Harlow

MurWalls LIVE is bringing 50+ artists to Harlow Town Centre on March 14 to create murals. It's a live event from Harlow Council.

MurWalls, known for using augmented reality to create interactive street art, will bring over 50 artists to Harlow. The event on March 14th is organized by Harlow Council. MurWalls has a history of community engagement, including work with local schools and the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow. In one instance, they created a "Matilda" artwork at a school in Old Harlow. Harlow has a growing public art scene; a mural of historical significance was recently re-installed at the Harvey Centre in partnership with the Harlow Art Trust. The wooden mural, created in 1982 by Henry Collins and Joyce Pallot, depicts historical elements of Harlow.
