Two Arrested After Bay Area Bank Robbery Spree

Authorities in Lafayette, California, have arrested two suspects in connection with a bank robbery in the nearby town of Alamo. The pair were apprehended after allegedly attempting a second robbery in Lafayette. A replica Glock firearm was recovered at the scene.

- The two suspects arrested have been identified as Jarmaya Tillman, 23, of Antioch, and Allen Charles Benjamin Foster, 20, of Oakland. - The series of events began around 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, with a bank robbery in the 3100 block of Danville Boulevard in Alamo. Shortly after, Lafayette police witnessed an attempted robbery outside a bank on the 3600 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard. - A multi-agency effort involving police from Danville, Orinda, Moraga, and Concord assisted in the search for the suspects after they fled the second scene. They were eventually located on foot near East Street and Brook Street in Lafayette after abandoning their vehicle. - Authorities are investigating a possible connection to a third similar incident that may have occurred shortly before the Alamo robbery. - Tillman is being held on $200,000 bail, while Foster's bail is set at $150,000. Both face charges of robbery, attempted robbery, and two counts of conspiracy. - One of the suspects, Allen Foster, has been arrested nine times since 2023 by five different agencies for alleged crimes that include vehicle theft, grand theft, robbery, and gun charges. - Jarmaya Tillman also has a criminal record, with three arrests in 2020 and 2021 for burglary, with one charge including a minor in possession of live ammunition and a concealed firearm.
