Alaska Airlines is adding seven nonstop routes for summer 2026, with new flights from Anchorage and Portland starting between March and June. (news.alaskaair.com) The carrier said Dec. 18 that Anchorage will get three additions: Boise, Boston and Spokane. Portland will add Bellingham, Everett-Paine Field, Pasco and Jackson Hole. (news.alaskaair.com) The Anchorage flights to Boise and Spokane are scheduled to begin June 10, 2026, and Boston is set to start June 13, 2026. Portland-Bellingham began March 19, 2026, and Portland-Pasco, Portland-Paine Field and Portland-Jackson Hole are scheduled to start June 10, 2026. (alaskaair.com) Alaska said the Anchorage additions will bring it to 17 nonstop destinations from Anchorage to the Lower 48 states and Hawaii in summer 2026, which the airline described as its highest summer total from the city. The airline also said Portland will have connections to more than 65 nonstop destinations after the new routes are in place. (news.alaskaair.com) Most of the new service is aimed at peak-season travel. Alaska said Anchorage-Boise, Anchorage-Boston and Anchorage-Spokane will run in mid-June through mid-August, while Portland-Jackson Hole is planned for a summer stretch at twice weekly. (news.alaskaair.com) The Portland buildout leans heavily into short-haul Pacific Northwest flying. Alaska said Portland-Bellingham will be daily and year-round, Portland-Pasco will be twice daily and year-round, and Portland-Paine Field will resume as a daily year-round route on June 10. (news.alaskaair.com) In Pasco, local airport officials said the Portland link had been the community’s most-requested route since it was last served in 2018. Tri-Cities Airport said Alaska plans to fly the route twice daily with a 76-seat Embraer 175. (airportimprovement.com) Alaska is already selling tickets for all seven routes on its website. The expansion gives the airline more nonstop reach from two of its Pacific Northwest hubs before the 2026 summer travel rush. (news.alaskaair.com)
