T.I. Drops 50 Cent Diss

T.I. released a new diss track titled "Right One" targeting 50 Cent on February 23, escalating their ongoing feud that intensified after a failed Verzuz battle. T.I.'s son King Harris has also joined the dispute with pointed Instagram commentary.

- The feud's origins trace back to as early as 2007 when 50 Cent called T.I. a "snitch" on a G-Unit track after T.I. received a one-year prison sentence on federal gun charges. - The current conflict reignited over a planned Verzuz battle. T.I. claims he and 50 Cent privately agreed to the event, but 50 Cent acted unaware of the plan once T.I. publicly announced it. - "Right One" is the second diss track T.I. released in a short period; the first was a teaser track titled "War." In "Right One," T.I. targets 50 Cent's appearance, career, and his child's mother, Daphne Joy. - On the track "Right One," T.I. labels 50 Cent a "5-0 dispatcher," a slang term for a police informant, and claims to have "paperwork" from inmates that includes 50 Cent's name. - The dispute escalated to involve family members when 50 Cent posted an unflattering picture of T.I.'s wife, Tameka "Tiny" Harris. - In response to 50 Cent's post about his mother, King Harris made several Instagram posts targeting 50 Cent's late mother, Sabrina Jackson, including posting a picture of a tombstone with her name. - King Harris also criticized 50 Cent for a past domestic violence allegation and for being "outsold and embarrassed by Kanye West" in a 2007 album sales battle. - This isn't the first time family has been involved in their disputes; in 2011, 50 Cent publicly questioned why Tiny didn't take the legal blame for a drug-related arrest with T.I.
