Amazon Bedrock Adds OpenAI-Compatible API

Amazon Bedrock now supports an OpenAI-compatible Projects API, allowing developers to orchestrate AI/ML projects on Bedrock using the same API surfaces as OpenAI. This move significantly reduces switching costs and accelerates vendor interoperability in the AI infrastructure space.

The new API is layered on top of "Project Mantle," Bedrock's distributed inference engine that was engineered to support OpenAI-compatible APIs.
