Nike Drops Limited 'NBA Paris' Dunk
Nike has released a limited-edition Dunk Low 'NBA Paris' to celebrate the league's showcase in the city. The sneaker features metallic gold accents and a Dark Stucco/Summit White colorway, reflecting the crossover between French basketball culture and NBA style.
This special-edition sneaker connects to the NBA's expanding international presence, with Paris becoming a regular host for regular-season games. The 2025 Paris showcase will feature two games between the San Antonio Spurs and the Indiana Pacers on January 23rd and 25th. A major storyline for the 2025 games is the return of French phenom Victor Wembanyama, who will play in his home country for the first time as an NBA player. Wembanyama was the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NBA draft and previously played for the Metropolitans 92 in Paris. The 'NBA Paris' Dunk Low, which retailed for $120, features specific design elements that commemorate the event. These include an NBA logo on the lateral heel and "Paris" branding on the insoles, rendered in a "Dark Stucco/Summit White/Metallic Gold/Black" colorway. This isn't the first time the NBA has held games in the French capital. Past matchups include the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. the Brooklyn Nets in 2024, the Chicago Bulls vs. the Detroit Pistons in 2023, and the Milwaukee Bucks vs. the Charlotte Hornets in 2020.
