Kansas, formed in 1973 in Topeka, achieved mainstream success in the 1970s and 80s with hits like "Carry On Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind". The band has sold over 30 million albums worldwide and continues to be a staple on classic rock radio. 38 Special was formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1974 by Donnie Van Zant and Don Barnes. Known for their southern rock sound, they gained popularity in the 1980s with hits like "Hold On Loosely" and "Caught Up in You". The co-headlining tour includes eight cities, with Kansas and 38 Special alternating closing slots. A headlining show for Kansas is scheduled for June 19 in Park City, Kansas. Tickets went on presale March 12, with general sales starting March 15.
