McDonald's at Disneyland Paris Gets Upgrade

The McDonald's in Disney Village just got a major upgrade, becoming the largest McDonald’s in France with three floors [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voIJB7Hgxi8]. Expect elevators, kids’ slides, reusable trays, and a digital allergen information system [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voIJB7Hgxi8] – they've even added Oreo Flurries and pistachio milkshakes to the menu!

The updated McDonald's is not only the largest in France, but also one of the most sustainable, with 250 m² of solar panels, 350 m² of green space, and a 120 m² living wall. These features align with France's RE2020 energy regulations and McDonald's "Scale for Good" program. The restaurant targets a BREEAM New Construction "Excellent" certification. The €20 million project, announced in 2023, replaces the original Disney Village McDonald's that opened 27 years ago. The new location boasts 600 seats, including 200 on an outdoor terrace, plus 23 self-service kiosks to streamline ordering. A team of 210 employees, speaking 16 languages, are available to assist the international visitors. The restaurant's design incorporates subtle Disney touches, blending McDonald's architectural concepts with the park's evolving aesthetic. In addition to standard McDonald's fare, the location offers French-inspired items like the Croque McDo and unique McCafé options. Seventy-five percent of the restaurant's ingredients are sourced from French producers.
