Replit in Google agent fund

- Google Cloud launched a US$750 million agentic AI partner fund and named partners including Replit among expected agent builders. (arnnet.com.au) - iTWire reports Gemini Enterprise will expose discoverable agents from Replit and other vendors inside Google’s agent marketplace. Google Cloud has put Replit inside a new $750 million push to get more artificial intelligence agents built and sold through its enterprise stack. (cloud.google.com) Google announced the fund on April 22 at Cloud Next 2026, saying it will apply across consulting firms, software partners, and channel partners in its global ecosystem. Google’s press materials said that ecosystem includes 120,000 partners. (googlecloudpresscorner.com) ARN identified Replit as one of the software partners Google named among expected “agent builders” for the program, alongside vendors including Elastic, Labelbox, Neo4j, UiPath, and Weights & Biases. (arnnet.com.au) Google is also opening Gemini Enterprise to outside agents through an Agent Marketplace, where employees can search for partner-built tools by industry, use case, and Gemini Enterprise compatibility. Google says administrators can choose which partner agents appear in the internal gallery for workers. (cloud.google.com) iTWire reported that Replit’s agents are among the partner offerings set to be discoverable in that marketplace inside Gemini Enterprise. Google’s own product page says the system can also upload and govern agents built on external platforms. (itwire.com) That gives Replit two routes into large-company buying cycles at once: funding and incentives on the partner side, and in-product discovery inside Google’s enterprise agent catalog. Google described the broader effort as part of building an “agentic enterprise” around Gemini, Vertex AI, security, and partner software. (cloud.google.com) An artificial intelligence agent is software that can take a goal, use tools, and complete multi-step work with limited human prompting. Google’s new Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform packages the pieces companies need to build, connect, secure, and monitor those agents in one place. (blog.google) Google is pitching openness as part of that platform. Its Gemini Enterprise agents page says partner agents can work through the Agent2Agent, or A2A, protocol so agents built on different platforms can communicate and interoperate. (cloud.google.com) For Replit, the fit is straightforward: its core business is helping users build software quickly, and agent tooling is becoming a bigger part of that workflow. Placement in Google’s marketplace could put Replit in front of companies already standardizing on Gemini Enterprise rather than asking those customers to adopt a separate agent hub first. (replit.com) Google framed the partner push as a revenue engine as much as a product launch. Satish Thomas, Google Cloud’s vice president of applied artificial intelligence and platform ecosystem, told CRN the fund sits alongside a claimed $250 billion total addressable market for partner offerings. (crn.com) The next test is whether customers treat Google’s marketplace as a real distribution channel for third-party agents, not just a showroom. If they do, Replit’s inclusion puts it closer to the center of how big companies buy and deploy artificial intelligence helpers. (cloud.google.com)
