Ferrari Confirms Five 2026 Models

Ferrari confirmed five new models for 2026, with the Luce EV leading the lineup as the legendary marque embraces electrification. This marks a pivotal moment for Ferrari as it expands into high-performance electric vehicles while maintaining its supercar heritage.

- The electric vehicle, named "Luce," which is Italian for "light," is expected to produce over 1,000 horsepower from a quad-motor, all-wheel-drive system. It will feature a 122-kWh battery pack with an estimated range of around 330 miles (531 km). - To accommodate the production of electric, hybrid, and combustion engine vehicles, Ferrari has opened a new 42,500-square-meter "e-building" at its Maranello headquarters. This facility will also produce key electrical components in-house, including high-voltage batteries, electric axles, and motors. - The interior of the Luce was designed in collaboration with LoveFrom, the creative firm founded by former Apple chief designer Sir Jony Ive and Marc Newson. Defying the trend of large touchscreens, the design emphasizes tactile, physical controls and uses materials like recycled aluminum and precision-milled glass. - Ferrari's strategy is not a complete transition to electric mobility but an "electric addition" to its portfolio, maintaining a mix of powertrain options. The company has revised its 2030 targets, now aiming for a product portfolio of 40% internal combustion, 40% hybrid, and 20% fully electric vehicles. - The company's move into electrification is backed by strong financial performance, with revenues exceeding €7.1 billion in 2025 and an order book filled through the end of 2027. - The Luce EV will feature a bespoke 880V platform and a third-generation 48-volt active suspension system. Ferrari is also developing patented sound signatures to ensure its electric models provide a distinct auditory experience rather than being silent or artificial.
