'Bosch' Star Titus Welliver Inks Deal with Amazon

Actor Titus Welliver, star of the *Bosch* series, has signed a first-look series deal with Amazon MGM Studios. The agreement positions Welliver to develop new television properties for the studio. The deal leverages the actor's long-standing relationship with the platform and his established audience reach.

- Titus Welliver has portrayed the character of Harry Bosch for over a decade, beginning with the original *Bosch* series in 2014, which ran for seven seasons as one of Prime Video's earliest and longest-running original dramas. - This new agreement builds on Welliver's existing production role, as he already served as an executive producer on both the original *Bosch* series and its spin-off, *Bosch: Legacy*. - The deal coincides with the third and final season of the spin-off *Bosch: Legacy*, which is set to premiere on March 27. - While *Legacy* is ending, the on-screen universe based on Michael Connelly's novels is expanding with other shows, including a series centered on detective Renée Ballard (played by Maggie Q) and a prequel titled *Bosch: Start of Watch*. - Welliver is slated to appear as a special guest star in the upcoming Renée Ballard spin-off, continuing his portrayal of Harry Bosch in a supporting capacity. - Beyond his work with Amazon, Welliver is also involved in other projects, including a planned spin-off of the CBS series *The Equalizer* and the independent film *Ricky*, which recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. - Welliver has expressed a deep commitment to the character created by author Michael Connelly, stating in interviews that he would be willing to play Harry Bosch for another 10 years if given the opportunity.
