Time Takers Beta March 13

The time-traveling third-person shooter Time Takers will launch its closed beta on March 13. Developed by Mistil Games and published by NCSOFT, the game features fast-paced, team-based competition across timelines, blending survival shooter and battle royale elements.

- The closed beta will run from March 13 to March 21, with servers accessible for eight hours each day from 4 p.m. to midnight Pacific Time. - Participation in the beta is primarily for players in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, and Peru, who can sign up for automatic entry through the game's Steam page. Players in other regions can get access by obtaining a code through the official Time Takers Discord channel. - The core gameplay revolves around "Time Energy," which functions as a player's lifespan and a resource for mid-match upgrades. This creates a strategic dilemma where players must decide between preserving their life and spending time to gain a power advantage. - If a player is killed with time remaining on their clock, they will lose some Time Energy but will respawn. However, if their timer, which has a maximum of 5 minutes and 30 seconds, reaches zero, they are eliminated from the match. - The beta will feature a trio mode, with four teams of three players competing. Players can choose from 12 playable characters, each with unique abilities, and 10 primary weapons. No duplicate characters are allowed on the same team. - Three maps will be available: Yokogawa (pre-modern Japan), Morstadt (medieval), and Miraesi (a futuristic city inspired by Seoul). - Publisher NCSOFT is known for popular online game franchises such as Lineage, AION, Blade & Soul, and Guild Wars. - The full release of *Time Takers* is planned for PC and consoles later in 2026.
