Shambhala Music Festival Reveals 2026 Artists

This year's headliners include bass music heavyweights like Excision, Liquid Stranger, and Seven Lions, alongside house and techno acts such as Boris Brejcha and Damian Lazarus. The lineup also features genre-blending artists like Chromeo and EarthGang, with over 150 more acts to be announced for the festival's six unique stages. Shambhala is held on the Salmo River Ranch, a 500-acre working farm in the Kootenay Mountains of British Columbia that transforms into the region's largest city for the festival weekend. The event has been a family-run affair since its inception in 1998, priding itself on having no corporate sponsorship. The festival’s six stages are permanent installations, each individually curated by a stage director to have a distinct theme and musical focus. The Village, for example, is a bass-lover's sanctuary with 200,000 watts of PK Sound, while the Fractal Forest is known for its funk-fueled beats in a surreal, tree-filled environment. What began as a gathering of 500 people in 1998 has grown to an attendance of over 20,000 guests, artists, and crew. Despite this growth, tickets for the 2026 edition are already sold out. For the 2024 event, tickets sold out within three hours, even before the lineup was revealed. Shambhala distinguishes itself with a strict no-alcohol policy and a strong emphasis on harm reduction, providing services like a drug-testing tent where attendees can have substances checked without judgment. This focus on safety and community has helped cultivate a dedicated fanbase who refer to themselves as the "Farmily".
