Tucson Unified restores free meals districtwide

Tucson Unified School District said this week that free breakfast and lunch will be available to all students at its 87 school campuses for the 2026-27 school year. The district said the meals will be offered at no charge each school day through the federal Community Eligibility Provision, or CEP. All students enrolled at any of Tucson Unified’s 87 campuses may receive one breakfast meal and one lunch meal at no charge each school day, according to the district’s food services page.
