ONE OK ROCK Cinema Movie Coming

ONE OK ROCK's DETOX Japan Tour at Nissan Stadium is getting a worldwide cinema release in April 2026. The announcement hit 12.5k likes and 733k views, with full details dropping March 3. Concert photos from their Seoul show are already pulling 6k likes as the Asia tour continues.

The upcoming cinema release isn't ONE OK ROCK's first foray into film. The band has a history of documenting their major performances, including the 2014 concert film "Mighty Long Fall at Yokohama Stadium" and the 2021 Netflix documentary "Flip a Coin," which chronicled their journey to staging a massive online concert during the pandemic. The show at Nissan Stadium is a part of the band's first-ever stadium tour, a significant milestone in their career. Their journey to this point has been a steady climb, from their first Nippon Budokan show in 2010 to a two-day stand at Yokohama Stadium in 2014 that drew 60,000 fans. By 2016, they held an outdoor concert that attracted an astounding 110,000 people over two days. A global cinematic release is a strategic move for a band that has diligently built an international fanbase. Since their first overseas tour in 2012, they have extensively toured North America, Europe, and Asia. Their international presence was further solidified by signing with the U.S. label Fueled by Ramen and participating in tours like the Vans Warped Tour. The "DETOX" tour itself marks a new chapter for the band, celebrating their 20th anniversary. The setlist for the tour features a mix of new tracks from their latest album and long-time fan favorites, with a stage production that includes pyrotechnics and large-scale video displays. The album has been described by vocalist Taka as more political, with songs that the band feels are important to share.
