McDavid Hits 100 Points

Connor McDavid reportedly hit 100 points "in Hollywood" during recent NHL action, while Denver Nuggets dominated Boston in a late-night NBA matchup. Social media buzz highlighted the milestone achievement alongside other hockey scores and NBA notes.

Connor McDavid's 100th point of the season came during an 8-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings, where he contributed one goal and one assist. The milestone point was an assist on a power-play goal by teammate Leon Draisaitl. This achievement marked the first time a player reached the 100-point mark in the 2025-26 NHL season. This is the ninth 100-point season in McDavid's career, placing him third all-time in the NHL. He now trails only Wayne Gretzky (15) and Mario Lemieux (10) for the most 100-point seasons in league history. This is also McDavid's sixth consecutive season hitting the century mark. The 29-year-old Oilers captain reached the 100-point plateau in just 60 games this season, with 35 goals and 65 assists. This is the fourth time in his career he has reached 100 points in 60 games or fewer, a feat only surpassed by Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, and Phil Esposito. In the NBA matchup, the Denver Nuggets secured a 103-84 home victory over the Boston Celtics. Nikola Jokic led the charge for the Nuggets with a dominant performance, recording 30 points and 12 rebounds. The Nuggets played most of the game without starting guard Jamal Murray, who left in the first quarter due to illness after playing just under eight minutes. For the Celtics, Jaylen Brown led the team with 23 points, while Colorado native Derrick White added 20 points. The loss for Boston came at the end of a four-game Western Conference road trip.
