Foo Fighters Drop New Single

Foo Fighters released "Your Favorite Toy," the title track from their upcoming 12th studio album due in April. Dave Grohl describes it as the creative key that unlocked the rest of the record, with the album expected to feature 10 tracks and showcase classic Foo Fighters high-energy sound.

- This will be the band's first full-length album with new drummer Ilan Rubin, who joined in 2025 after a stint with Nine Inch Nails. - The album was co-produced by the band and Oliver Roman and recorded at their home studio, with mixing by Mark "Spike" Stent, who also mixed their previous two albums. - The upcoming record follows their 2023 album, *But Here We Are*. - In addition to the title track, the new album includes the single "Asking For A Friend," which was released in late 2025, and "Unconditional," a song the band performed live in 2024. - The full band lineup for the new record is Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Rami Jaffee, and Ilan Rubin. - Following festival dates in the spring, the band will embark on the "Take Cover" world tour, beginning in Oslo, Norway, on June 10. - A North American stadium tour is scheduled to follow in August, with Queens of the Stone Age providing support for most dates.
