Super Taikyu Lineup Announced
Hitotsuyama Racing announced their 2026 Super Taikyu lineup with a BMW M2 in ST-3 class.
The team will field the #22 M2 Competition in the ST-3 class, a category for production-based cars with engine displacements between 2.0L and 3.5L. The driver lineup includes team owner Ryuichiro Hitotsuyama, who has a long history in Super Taikyu and Super GT. Joining him are Yuki Tanaka, Shaun Thong, and Dustin Tander, forming a mix of experience and youthful talent. Hitotsuyama Racing has been a consistent presence in Japanese motorsports for many years, often fielding Audi machinery in Super GT. Their move to a BMW M2 in Super Taikyu adds an interesting new chapter to their racing history.
