Pokémon GO Steeled Resolve event starts Apr 28

Pokémon GO starts its Steeled Resolve event on Tuesday, April 28, with Orthworm making its in-game debut and Shiny Meltan returning through the Mystery Box. (pokemongo.com) The event runs from 10:00 a.m. local time on April 28 through 8:00 p.m. local time on May 4. Orthworm, a Paldea Pokémon, will appear in three-star raids and can be Shiny from day one. During this event, the cooldown before reopening the box is reduced, and Shiny Meltan can appear if players are lucky. Field Research can also reward Magnemite, Pineco, Nosepass, Bronzor, Drilbur, Ferroseed, and, for some players, Beldum or Shieldon. The event also launches a temporary progression track called GO Pass: Steeled Resolve – Taken Over at 10:00 a.m. local time on April 28. Unclaimed pass rewards expire on May 6 at 7:59 p.m. local time.
