adidas Relaunches 1994 USA Jersey

HYPEBEAST highlighted adidas' retro 1994 USA World Cup denim jersey relaunch, blending urban nostalgia and hype. Where can I buy one?

The relaunch coincides with the lead-up to the 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Adidas designed the original jersey for the 1994 World Cup, which was also held in the United States. The remake is part of a larger "U.S. Denim Collection" that includes shorts, a track top, a hat, and even reworked Adidas Samba sneakers. Former USMNT player Alexi Lalas, who famously sported the original jersey during the '94 World Cup, is modeling the new collection. Adidas' design director Inigo Turner stated the design aims to capture the "distinctive and original" side of American soccer. A key difference in the 2026 version is the absence of the U.S. Soccer Federation crest. This is due to Nike currently being the official kit supplier for the USMNT. As such, Adidas is marketing the remake as a lifestyle product rather than an official national team jersey. The original 1994 jersey wasn't necessarily loved at the time but has since become a cult classic. The remake features the same washed-denim effect, scattered white stars, and red detailing. However, it utilizes lightweight performance fabric for modern comfort.
