MTG Arena Limited Championship Qualifier

Competitive Magic: The Gathering players can participate in the Arena Limited Championship Qualifier, running February 20–22, 2026. The event starts at 8 a.m. PT (16:00 UTC), with signups open until February 23 at 8 a.m. PT.

- This event is part of a new competitive structure for 2026, with four Arena Limited Championship Qualifiers replacing the previous Arena Opens. - The format for this qualifier is Best-of-One Lorwyn Eclipsed Draft. - To qualify, players must win a token from a first draft event to enter a second, and then win the second event. - The entry fee for the first draft is 25,000 gold or 5,000 gems. - Players in the second draft can win cash prizes, with six wins awarding $2,000 and an invitation to the Arena Limited Championship. - This qualifier is the first step towards the 2027 Magic Limited Championship, which will feature a $500,000 prize pool. - Winners of this qualifier will compete in the Arena Limited Championship in late 2026, where approximately 120 players will earn entry to the 2027 Magic Limited Championship. - The Arena Championship, the pinnacle of MTG Arena competition, has a $200,000 prize pool and its top finishers gain entry to the Magic World Championship.
