Sayaji Hotels has opened Enrise by Sayaji in Amravati, its first property in the Maharashtra city and the latest push into India’s smaller urban markets. (bwhotelier.com) The hotel sits on National Highway 6, also described as the Nagpur Highway, and opened with 82 rooms in four categories: Grande, Grande Twin, Executive Grande, and Premium Grande. (ettravelworld.com) Sayaji and trade publications said the property’s main pitch is events: eight venues, including Mahal, Jewel, Solitaire, Vrindavan, Vatika, and an amphitheatre, with total capacity of up to 2,000 guests. (bwhotelier.com) That format puts the hotel in two businesses at once — rooms for corporate travelers and large spaces for weddings, conventions, and community events in the Vidarbha region. (ettravelworld.com) Amravati has been described by the company and sector outlets as an educational and commercial center in Vidarbha, and Sayaji is betting that road-linked secondary cities can support branded hotels with banquet revenue as well as nightly stays. (ettravelworld.com) The Enrise name is not new inside the group. Sayaji said in 2022 that it operated three flagship brands — Sayaji Hotels, Effotel by Sayaji, and Enrise by Sayaji — as it mapped expansion beyond its larger-city base. (hospitality.economictimes.indiatimes.com) The company’s 2024-25 annual report said it had added new management properties and was pursuing further expansion, framing growth as part of its next phase after a year of higher revenue, occupancies, and food-and-beverage performance. (sayajihotels.com) Ajay Kanojia, Sayaji’s director of operations, said the Amravati launch was aimed at “emerging cities that are on the cusp of growth,” while partner Swapnil Soni of Maniratna Group said the site was built to host “the city’s biggest moments.” (bwhotelier.com) For Sayaji, the test now is whether Enrise can turn highway access, event scale, and a mid-market city into a repeatable model for its next openings.
