Emirates is running a reduced flight schedule to more than 100 destinations and is letting affected passengers rebook or seek refunds as regional disruption continues. (emirates.com) The airline said in an update posted April 10, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. Dubai time that the cutback follows a “partial reopening of regional airspace” and that schedules will keep changing as operations are reviewed. (emirates.com) Passengers booked to travel between February 28 and May 31 can be rebooked on the next available Emirates flight, including many itineraries that connect beyond Dubai. They can also switch to the same destination, or another destination in the same region, for travel on or before June 15. (emirates.com) Customers who no longer want to travel can request a refund without fees if their flight is cancelled or if their booking is for travel on or before May 31. Emirates said travelers should finish any rebooking before asking for a refund because unused flights on the same itinerary will be cancelled and refunded automatically. (emirates.com 1) (emirates.com 2) For new sales, Emirates said tickets booked from April 2 come with one complimentary date change in every cabin, as long as the new trip stays within the ticket’s validity period. Fare differences can still apply. (emirates.com) The airline is also steering customers to self-service tools as call volumes rise. Travelers whose original departure is within 72 hours may be able to change flights in Manage Your Booking or in the Emirates app, while travel-agent bookings must be handled through the agent. (emirates.com 1) (emirates.com 2) Emirates said its network has not fully resumed and warned that airport and third-party listings may not match the latest operating plan. The carrier told passengers who receive a cancellation email not to leave for the airport and to keep checking flight status even after check-in. (emirates.com 1) (emirates.com 2) The policy gives Emirates room to keep traffic moving through Dubai while airspace access remains uneven across the region. For passengers, the practical message is narrower: check the latest schedule, watch for email and text alerts, and decide between rebooking and refund before the May 31 cutoff.
