SATT launches logistics conference

The Shipping Association of Trinidad & Tobago announced its first Shipping and Logistics Conference for March 26–27 at Hyatt Regency Trinidad, focused on regional freight issues and operator networking announced. That event will be a focused forum for feeder operators, forwarders and hotel procurement leads to compare regional routing solutions.

SATT is pairing its 88th Annual General Meeting with its inaugural Shipping & Logistics Conference and is taking registrations through an official Office Forms link on its event page. (shipping.co.tt) The conference listing names national figures among participants, including Prime Minister Stuart Young and Minister of Works and Transport Rohan Sinanan. (shipping.co.tt) ONBOARD Freight & Logistics appears as a main sponsor on SATT’s page, with sponsorship benefits spelled out (reserved front‑table seating and tiered website banner advertising). (shipping.co.tt) SATT’s event metadata classifies the meeting under “Carriers, Logistics, Marine, Performance, Seaboard, Trade,” indicating industry‑level sessions and exhibitor tracks. (shipping.co.tt) Local media outlets carried the launch: TTT Live published a launch video quoting SATT General Manager Michelle Mulcare, and TV6 ran a news feature previewing the conference. (youtube.com) In advance of the conference SATT has been active on policy and regional fronts—meeting the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Tourism in June 2025 and representing members at the Caribbean Shipping Association’s recent CSEC forum.
