Daniel Radcliffe is drawing Broadway audiences with his performance in "Every Brilliant Thing," a production known for its emotional resonance and audience interaction. Jeanette Bayardelle will return to "& JULIET" as Angelique, bringing her acclaimed vocal talent back to the Broadway stage.
This isn't Daniel Radcliffe's first time on the Great White Way; he made his Broadway debut in 2008 with "Equus," for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award. He later starred in successful revivals of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" in 2011 and "Merrily We Roll Along," for which he won a Tony Award in 2024. "Every Brilliant Thing" is a solo play where the actor tells the story of a man who starts a list of everything that makes life worth living as a gift for his mother, who is struggling with depression. The production is known for being interactive, with the audience helping to tell the story. The play, written by Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe, has been praised for its ability to address serious mental health topics with both humor and warmth. The Broadway premiere is a limited engagement, scheduled to run for 13 weeks at the Hudson Theatre. Jeanette Bayardelle is a seasoned Broadway performer, having previously starred as Celie in "The Color Purple," a role for which she won an NAACP Theater Award. She also received a Tony Award nomination in 2022 for her role in "Girl From the North Country."
