Chenal showcased his athleticism at the Chiefs' Super Bowl parade after Super Bowl LVII, jumping up the side of a bus to join his teammates. The video of the impressive feat quickly went viral. Chenal's athleticism was evident before his NFL career. At the NFL combine, he posted a 40.5" vertical jump and ran a 4.53 40-yard dash. Despite his contributions to the Chiefs, Chenal signed with the Washington Commanders on March 10, 2026, for a 3-year, $24.75 million contract. In his four years with the Chiefs, he started in 44 games and played multiple positions. Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo praised Chenal's versatility, noting he played linebacker, defensive end, defensive tackle, slot cornerback, and even fullback.
